No Official Has Clarified What Is Happening on the Kapan-Jakaten Road: Tigran Abrahamyan

No official has yet clarified what is currently happening on the Kapan-Jakaten road section. This was noted by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the "I Have Honor" parliamentary faction, on his Facebook page.

“Various users and media posts/videos show that Azerbaijanis are intensively working in several areas of the road, which closely resembles the creation of infrastructure for conducting border/customs control. Meanwhile, videos are actively circulating online depicting emergency situations and traffic jams on various sections of the alternative road route Tathev-Aghvani-Kapan, which is considered an alternate route to the Goris-Vorotan-Shurnukh-Kapan road. Yes, this is the same road that is praised without interruption by both major and minor figures of the government. I am not yet discussing the condition and passability of the roads leading to Bardzravan, Vorotan, and Shurnukh.

The actions of the authorities, in some cases their criminal inaction in Syunik, have led to a collapse in the southern part of the country, which has a direct impact on the entire national security system,” wrote Tigran Abrahamyan.
