According to preliminary results of the local elections in Kapan, the current mayor Georg Parsyan, leading the "Shant" alliance, is in the lead. Georg Parsyan has published the preliminary results on his Facebook page, indicating that the "Shant" alliance has received 1,222 votes, while the Civil Contract has received 532 votes.

It is noteworthy that the list of the Civil Contract is headed by MP Davit Danielyan, who is also a painter.
