Calm Situation Observed in Kapan and Other Towns, Says Daniel Ioannisyan

Overall, the process is proceeding normally, and no significant violations have been recorded during the voting day up to this point, which applies to both Kapan and the other monitored communities.

This was stated by Daniel Ioannisyan, program coordinator of the Civic Alliance "Informed Citizens' Union," during a press conference in Kapan.

Ioannisyan noted, "I must say that the situation has been quite calm since this morning in both Kapan and the other monitored communities; there haven't been any particularly noteworthy incidents." He added that observers have noticed that in certain directions, the precinct election commissions are struggling with the electoral processes, and some technical issues have been recorded.

According to Daniel Ioannisyan, the Civic Alliance has deployed 88 observers for the monitoring mission. "Among them, we have 10 mobile teams, and after 8 PM, we will monitor the work of all territorial electoral commissions. In the enlarged community of Kapan, we are working with about 40 observers, which also includes five mobile teams that are deployed in various directions and are effectively working in both Kapan and the villages," he stated, mentioning that their observers are also monitoring in the direction of Jakatun.

"Without any obstacles, the observers have reached Jakatun, then Shikahogh, and all the way to Tsav. They have been able to transit through all these communities without issue. The road is completely open. I will also depart in that direction shortly," added the program coordinator of the Informed Citizens' Union.
