New Travel Guideline for Vaccinated Armenian Citizens: Unrestricted Entry

Fully vaccinated citizens of Armenia will be able to enter Sweden unrestricted and without additional travel regulations. This information comes from the website schengenvisainfo.com.

“The government has made changes regarding the temporary entry ban to Sweden. According to the changes, individuals who can present a vaccination certificate issued in Armenia are exempt from the entry ban and testing requirement,” stated the announcement from the Swedish Ministry of Justice.

The site reports that this decision will take effect on November 15. Armenia has recently joined the EU's digital system for COVID-19 certificates, meaning that vaccination certificates issued in the country are recognized under the same conditions as those issued by member states.

However, Armenian travelers need to prove they have been vaccinated with the vaccine that Sweden accepts for travel purposes.
