Menua Hovsepyan, who voluntarily presented himself, is not accepted at the Goris Penitentiary

For the past two days, Menua Hovsepyan, the deputy head of the Goris community, has not been accepted at the Goris Penitentiary. His lawyer, Armen Melkonyan, spoke about this in a conversation with Tert.am.

"He has been going voluntarily for two days to be detained, but they are not accepting him. Yesterday they said it was too late, today they say they have not received a decision. Since the body conducting the proceedings is the court, Menua Hovsepyan has now gone to the court to understand what is happening," the lawyer detailed.

According to him, there might be an attempt to create a situation where they then claim that Menua Hovsepyan violated the order and the 30 million bail should not be returned.

Commenting on the issue of whether the appellate court's decision specified which penitentiary should take Menua Hovsepyan, the lawyer said, "The last time he was released from detention, he exited the Goris Penitentiary, which means he should have been taken there."
