I am ready to resign my parliamentary mandate even tomorrow. This was stated by Taguhi Tovmasyan, a member of the "Honorary Duty" faction in the National Assembly, on her Facebook page.

She specifically noted: "From the first day of my parliamentary activities, I have had a clear stance on this issue: Either the mandate must serve the interests of the state, or there is no point in holding it. Today, when I cannot be of any use in protecting the borders of my homeland with the mandate entrusted to me, when I cannot neutralize the threats to my homeland with that mandate, and as our country is continuously diminishing, I am ready at any moment to resign it. But even in this situation, my efforts in solving these issues will not lessen; I will remain committed, as I have been in the past three years."
