Evacuations Declared at Three U.S. Universities Following Bomb Threats
The University of Southern California, New York University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have issued evacuation orders for student housing due to bomb threats. This information was reported by TASS, referencing ABC News.
Authorities have already deemed the bomb threat, allegedly related to the University of Southern California, as unfounded, and the university continues to operate. No evidence of explosive devices has been found in the vicinity of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology either.
In recent weeks, several universities in the U.S. have evacuated staff and students in response to bomb threats, which later turned out to be false. For instance, Yale University conducted an evacuation on November 5, while Columbia, Cornell, and Brown universities followed suit on November 7.
