Information Does Not Correspond to Reality: Ministry of Health Issues Statement

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia has responded to media reports, stating: "In reference to the article titled 'Women Leaders of the Ministry of Health are at War' published in 'Hraparak' newspaper, the Ministry of Health declares that the information contained in the article is a fabrication and does not correspond to reality.

The Ministry urges the editorial staff not to present slander and misinformation as 'revelations' to the public.

It is worth mentioning that the financing of medical assistance and services provided under free and preferential terms guaranteed by the state is carried out in accordance with established procedures. Specifically, the contractual amounts for organizations providing guaranteed free and preferential medical assistance and services are calculated according to the procedures established by the decision N318-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia dated March 4, 2004. Changes and redistributions in the contractual amounts of organizations throughout the year are carried out in accordance with the procedures stipulated in point 35 of annex N 2 of the approved decision.
