Fake PCR Test Results Provided to Personnel of the Ministry of Defense University – Criminal Case Launched

According to the findings from extensive operational-investigative actions undertaken by the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, it has been revealed that on September 29, 2021, and October 15, 2021, representatives of "PHOENIX MED" LLC conducted a total of 62 sample collections from the personnel of the National Defense Research University of the Ministry of Defense for the purpose of detecting the Covid-19 pandemic.

Subsequently, on October 4, 2021, and October 18, 2021, they provided false documents from "BIOMED" LLC with negative test results without the laboratory testing being conducted via the PCR method.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense based on the characteristics of part 1 of Article 325 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (forgery, use, or distribution of false documents, seals, stamps, forms, or vehicle license plates).
