Deputy Mayor of Goris Arrested

The Court of Appeals has made a decision to arrest the Deputy Mayor of Goris, Menua Hovsepyan. This is reported by 1Lurer.am.

Last month, the first instance court in the Syunik region had released him on bail.

It should be noted that Menua Hovsepyan was arrested on August 17. He faces charges under two articles of the Criminal Code of Armenia: embezzlement or misappropriation of large amounts of funds using his official position, and coercion to participate in electoral campaigning.
