Agreement Reached on the Duration of Goris-Kapan Road Usage by Armenian Citizens

During a broadcast on public television, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan announced that an agreement has been reached regarding how long the Goris-Kapan road will remain under Armenian control.

"In general, such an agreement has been made. The agreement primarily concerns the notion that we will use this road until we have an alternative route. Of course, certain obstacles have arisen during this time, but until yesterday, Armenian citizens have been using this road," he said.

During the conversation, the Secretary of the Security Council reaffirmed the existence of an agreement with Azerbaijan regarding the Goris-Kapan route, stating: "The preliminary agreement, as I mentioned, is that we will use this road for a certain period until we have an alternative. That is the essence of the agreement."
