4 Dead, 3 Injured: What Theories Are Investigators Exploring in the Kanaker Shooting Case
On November 11, shots were fired in one of the private homes in Kanaker, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, while three others were hospitalized with various injuries. Among the deceased were the criminal figure known as Kanaker Tui, Arthur Ghazaryan, and former MP Artush Simonian, aged 61.
Among the injured is the son of the deceased former MP, Vladimir Simonian.
Currently, the Investigative Committee of Armenia is exploring potential theories regarding this incident. According to information obtained by ArmLur.am, law enforcement is considering two main hypotheses: either the parties involved had unresolved disputes that led to the gunfire, or a third party was involved in the shooting. This suggests that investigators have suspicions that certain individuals may have known that Arthur Ghazaryan, also known as Kanaker Tui, was at the home of former MP Artush Simonian at that time, which may have prompted an armed attack at the former MP's residence.
