U.S. State Department Bureau on the Killing of a Civilian Near Shushi

The U.S. State Department's Bureau for European and Eurasian Affairs has addressed the killing of a civilian by Azerbaijani armed forces near Shushi on November 8 in a tweet.

“We condemn the violence that led to the death of an Armenian civilian. We urge both Armenia and Azerbaijan to enhance their engagement, including through the co-chairs of the Minsk Group, to resolve all outstanding issues related to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and its aftermath,” the statement read.
