UK Parliament Passes Bill Recognizing the Armenian Genocide in First Reading

The House of Commons of the UK Parliament has passed a bill recognizing the Armenian Genocide in its first reading, as announced by the Armenian National Committee of Britain on its Facebook page.

"Today is a historic day for the Armenian Cause. The first reading of the bill on the Armenian Genocide has passed without objections. The next reading will take place on March 18, 2022. We thank Tim Loughton and all co-authors for this success," the statement said.
