Tragic Car Accident: Soldiers of the Ministry of Defense N Military Unit Involved, 1 Dead, 2 Injured

Today, on November 10, a major car accident occurred in the Syunik region. Around 1:00 AM, a 30-year-old resident of Syunik, identified as Sarkis Z., lost control of his Opel Zafira vehicle on the 222nd kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, veering off the road under unknown circumstances, flipping several times and landing upside down on the left side of the road.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, Sarkis Z. and his passengers, 30-year-old Harout M. and 50-year-old David H., were taken to the Goris Medical Center with bodily injuries, where David H. tragically succumbed to his injuries en route, without regaining consciousness.

As Shamshyan reports, the driver, the injured, and the deceased were all serving in the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
