Opposition Proposes Urgent Session: Pashinyan to be Invited to Parliament

The opposition "Armenia" and "I Have Honor" factions have initiated a proposal to hold an urgent session on November 16, focusing on the public interest topic of clarifying the fate of prisoners of war, hostages, the missing, and other individuals held in captivity.

The deputies have submitted the required number of signatures to the leadership of the National Assembly and are demanding that an urgent discussion be organized during the second main session on Tuesday of the regular session. They invite Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the Director of the NSS, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Parliament.

It is noted that for a considerable time, the opposition has been holding similar closed discussions in this format; however, the government sends second-tier officials to these discussions, who are unable to satisfy the deputies' inquiries as they are not well-informed about the situation.
