Berd Community Head Arrested for One Month, Defense Claims

The head of the Berd community in the Tavush region, Harutyun Manucharyan, has been ordered to be detained for one month by the Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court, presided over by Judge Gevorg Poghosyan. This was stated by Manucharyan's defense attorney Arman Tamrazyan in a conversation with NEWS.am.

Harutyun Manucharyan has been charged under Article 308 (abuse of official authority) and the first part of Article 314 (official forgery) of the Criminal Code.

Manucharyan does not accept the charges against him.
