A Consultation Took Place Under the Leadership of Pashinyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a consultation at the government, attended by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister Araik Harutyunyan, Central Bank President Martin Galstyan, Chairman of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Financial and Budgetary Affairs Gevorg Papoyan, heads of government departments coordinating the economic sector, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan, among others.

At the beginning of the consultation, Prime Minister Pashinyan stated: “We have defined in the government program that after the approval of the program, we must make a decision within three months regarding the priorities of the economy, that is, the dominant sectors. And today our discussion is dedicated to that.”

The directions that have the potential to become the locomotive of the economy and the main sectors of development were discussed. There was an exchange of ideas, and a number of proposals and observations were presented.
