The Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, spoke today with journalists in parliament about the one-year anniversary of the end of the war.

“This is another opportunity for us to reevaluate and move forward after learning from our mistakes. We cannot look at this great pain through our fingers because we have paid a very high price for our mistakes. Perhaps we have paid the highest price, and we must remember and understand this for a long time. In this regard, I highly value the idea of establishing an investigative commission that was proposed by us and must be established by us,” said Alen Simonyan.

He noted that this work is very important and that the results could play a decisive role in the future of our state.
