“This is a legal requirement; everyone is equal before the law and must wear masks. This is the demand,” said Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan in a conversation with journalists, referring to instances of officials not wearing masks.

The minister emphasized that wearing a mask is not optional at this time, as Armenia is facing a tense epidemic situation, and everyone must equally adhere to the legal requirements. She stated that it does not matter whether one is an official or not; if a person violates the law, they should be fined.
