US Calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia to Fully Adhere to Ceasefire Conditions: US State Department

The United States calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia to fully adhere to the conditions of the ceasefire. This statement was released by the US State Department.

“We urge the return of all detained persons, to be fully accountable for missing persons, to ensure the voluntary return of displaced persons to their homes, to implement comprehensive humanitarian demining in conflict-affected areas, and to grant access for international humanitarian organizations to work with those in need,” the statement said.

The United States also emphasized the importance of dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group for addressing issues related to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
