Teachers Who Passed Voluntary Certification Will Receive Salary Increases for 5 Years
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Vahram Dumanian, has confirmed, through decree number 1687 dated November 5, the list of teachers who have passed voluntary certification and will receive a salary increase.
According to the Ministry, teachers who scored between 60% and 69% are considered to have passed the certification (169 teachers). Those who achieved higher scores will receive a salary increase starting from October 1, 2021, for a period of five years:
- Teachers scoring 70-79% will receive a 30% increase (159 teachers).
- Teachers scoring 80-89% will receive a 40% increase (153 teachers).
- Teachers scoring 90-100% will receive a 50% increase (166 teachers).
It should be noted that a total of 996 teachers participated in the subject knowledge assessment as part of this voluntary certification initiative, with 647, or approximately 65%, successfully passing the certification. Among those who passed, 478 teachers, which constitutes 74% of the certified group, will be eligible for the salary increase.
