Russia Ready to Send Additional Batch of Sputnik V Vaccine to Armenia if Necessary, Says Russian Ambassador
Russia is prepared to send additional batches of the Sputnik V vaccine to Armenia if necessary, said Sergey Kopirkin, the Russian Ambassador to Armenia, during a conversation with reporters.
He noted that a significant quantity of vaccine doses have already been supplied, and Sputnik V is being widely used in Armenia. “The Russian side has expressed its readiness to supply the required quantity of vaccine doses if necessary,” Kopirkin mentioned.
The ambassador stated that the relevant agencies of the two countries are in contact regarding this matter.
Sergey Kopirkin also confirmed that the Sputnik Light vaccine, which is produced in Armenia, has been sent to Russia for verification. “The remaining details should be clarified by specialists,” he said.
