I Would Like to Understand from Seyran Ohanyan: What is the Purpose of Building Barricades? – Andranik Kocharyan

The National Assembly's Permanent Committee on Defense and Security did not elect Arthur Ghazinyan as the deputy chairman for the 11th time. The committee chair, Andranik Kocharyan, expressed his desire for Seyran Ohanyan to be present at the meeting, as he has questions for him.

“It is true that opinions can be expressed at rallies, but committee meetings are meetings of the committee and they set forth their mandatory requirements,” he stated.

Kocharyan mentioned that he heard a very dangerous thesis about barricades at yesterday's rally. “After the elections, there are no barricades; there are state platforms for discussing political agendas, one of which is this committee's meetings. If Seyran Ohanyan were here, I would like to understand the purpose of forming groups and barricades. If we could find that answer, Mr. Ohanyan should be here for that,” Kocharyan announced.
