Armenia Ends Negotiation Process. Aliyev Points to Causes of War

“Armenia began to take unacceptable steps and make statements that insult the dignity of Azerbaijanis, claiming that 'Karabakh is Armenia.' Armenia has ended the negotiation process. This too was a provocation against us,” stated Aliyev during a meeting with soldiers in the occupied Shushi. He further remarked that the holding of the inauguration ceremony for the President of Artsakh in Shushi also insulted Azerbaijanis.

“This den of devils, where this event was organized, was destroyed by the Azerbaijani army during the war. The transfer of parliament to Shushi became another mockery towards us. Armenia threatened us with the capture of new territories. How much longer should we endure this? Should someone have conveyed this to them or not? Thousands, tens of thousands of Azerbaijani youth, soldiers, and officers have put Armenians in a hopeless situation. Now Armenians will forever live with the stigma of a defeated people and state,” said Aliyev.
