Azerbaijan's Special Services Terrorize Artsakh Residents Online: Artsakh Prosecutor's Office

As previously reported, Azerbaijan's special services or their representatives regularly attempt to involve Artsakh users in various processes on social networks using various tactics, aiming to obtain information from them, gauge public sentiment, and assess opinions on particular issues. This was stated in a press release by the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Artsakh.

Yesterday, a report was submitted to the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Artsakh, indicating that representatives of Azerbaijan's special services had issued threats of murder and retribution to an Artsakh citizen who was active on social networks, providing information that suggests prior collection of personal data about this citizen.

This report has been forwarded to the National Security Service of Artsakh for consideration according to the procedures established by criminal procedural legislation.

The statement from the Prosecutor's Office urges the citizens of the Republic of Artsakh to refrain from communication with suspicious or unfamiliar users on social networks, and to avoid sharing information. In the event of such situations, they are advised to report immediately to the National Security Service of Artsakh.
