Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Issues Threats: Arshak Karapetyan's Visit to Artsakh Provokes Adversary

As reported, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Arshak Karapetyan, traveled to the Republic of Artsakh for a two-day working visit on November 6. During his visit, Karapetyan visited combat positions, met with servicemen on duty, and assessed the fortification conditions and the social-living conditions of the duty stations.

Azerbaijan has issued threats against Arshak Karapetyan, labeling the visit as 'illegal' and 'provocative'. The statement released by that country's Ministry of Defense reads: 'We warn the military-political leadership of Armenia that if such illegal visits to Azerbaijani territories are repeated, necessary measures will be taken.'
