Azerbaijani President's Bodyguard Opens Fire on Workers on Stepankert-Shushi Road
Citizens working on a water pipeline near Shushi were shot not by soldiers, but by an employee of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's personal security. This was reported by 'Infoteka 24', revealing yet another crime committed by the adversary.
“The working group was located in the middle of two roads leading to Shushi. While they were working, a tall man in distinct military uniform approached them, stood in front of them, and began yelling without speaking either Russian or Azerbaijani. The workers attempted to explain that they were changing the water pipes, but the shooter continued to fire shots, after which he put down his rifle, drew a pistol, and started shooting,” the report stated.
One person died on the spot, while others tried to hide, but the shooter continued to fire at them. Typically, those armed with pistols are either officers or KGB personnel. The fact that he wore distinctive military attire suggests that the shooter was a member of Aliyev's bodyguard, indicating that he was simply following orders,” the website wrote.
Additionally, at that time, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar were in the occupied Shushi.
