Abrahamyan on ‘Hayots Ashkharh’ Newspaper’s Inquiry Regarding the Prosecutor General’s Russian Citizenship
‘Hayots Ashkharh’ newspaper today made a mysterious public inquiry to the Prosecutor General of Armenia about whether the Prosecutor General has applied to the government of the Russian Federation for Russian citizenship. This was reported by Gor Abrahamyan, the adviser to the Prosecutor General, on his Facebook page.
“Then, having a peculiar cash confidence of receiving a positive answer, or perhaps falling into the embrace of imagination that a similar answer would be obtained, they direct a second question asking what response was received after applying to the Russian state structures. Although one could choose not to respond to this absurdity, considering how certain media outlets have disseminated it as if it were something valuable, I would like to publicly disappoint both them and the editorial team of ‘Hayots Ashkharh’: the Prosecutor General has not turned to the competent authorities of the RF with such a question. We hope that the editorial staff will guess the answer to the second question from this single attempt,” wrote Gor Abrahamyan.
