Will Universities Transition to In-Person Learning? Dumanian Responds

“Universities are autonomous. I believe that we will transition to in-person learning starting November 15, strictly adhering to anti-epidemic safety regulations,” said Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanian during a conversation with reporters at the National Assembly today, November 8.

“We have not concealed that we are in favor of in-person learning. These measures were taken at the request of our partners in the Ministry of Health to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus. As for schools, we have only extended the holidays by one week, and we will revise the educational plan later. We hope that we will not have to revisit this issue again,” the minister added.
