Tragic Incident: 10-Year-Old Boy Struck by Vehicle and Killed

On November 8, a fatal collision occurred in the Vayots Dzor province. Around 08:40, Samvel Sedrakyan, a 64-year-old resident of the province, struck a pedestrian, 10-year-old Yervand H., with his VAZ 21740 vehicle at the 1.8 km mark of the Getap-Martuni road.

According to shamshyan.com, the child died en route to the ‘Yeghegnadzor’ medical center.

Officers from the road police arrived at the scene. Information regarding the incident has been forwarded to the Vayots Dzor regional investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee, from which an investigative team has arrived. Based on the investigator’s instructions, the vehicle has been moved to the special premises of the Yeghegnadzor police department.
