Peskov on the Putin-Pashinyan-Aliyev Trilateral Meeting

Work is being done to organize a trilateral video conference meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian president, stated this, according to TASS.

He noted that there is currently no specific agreement regarding the day of the meeting. “Let me clarify about the topic of the video conference between Putin, Aliyev, and Pashinyan. Indeed, we confirm that work is underway to prepare for such a meeting. But here we want to emphasize that there are no precise agreements and understanding of when such a video conference might take place; this work is ongoing,” he said.

Previously, it was reported that the trilateral meeting is anticipated to take place this week in a video conference format. The parties will adopt a statement.
