In Greece, Citizens Paid for Saltwater Vaccination Against COVID-19
In Greece, citizens have paid doctors 400 euros for a saltwater injection as a vaccination against COVID-19, in exchange for receiving a vaccination certificate. Doctors accepted the money but administered the Pfizer vaccine instead, according to Greek Mega TV.
In total, more than 100,000 people in Greece received fake vaccination certificates after receiving saltwater injections. Some doctors declined to return the money but used the actual vaccine to avoid complications at their workplaces.
The local Ministry of Interior has confirmed the existence of such a problem, noting that there are still fewer than 100,000 patients holding fake certificates. Currently, some citizens are facing complex legal and social issues, as they received the vaccine against their will.
