Azerbaijani Soldier Opens Fire on Employees in Shushi Area

On November 8, around 15:00, an Azerbaijani serviceman opened fire on employees of the 'Water Supply' company who were carrying out repairs on water pipes at a junction near the city of Shushi. As a result of the gunfire, one individual was killed on the spot, while three others sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to a regional medical center.

The injured have suffered wounds to the chest and neck, but their lives are not in danger, as reported by the Artsakh Prosecutor's Office, according to Armenpress.

The statement from the Prosecutor's Office indicates that urgent investigative, inquiry, and prosecutorial actions are being conducted at the scene by operational groups and investigators from the National Security Service and the police to clarify the circumstances of the incident, uncover the real causes, and provide a legal assessment.

It is noted that traffic in the area has been temporarily suspended due to ongoing investigative activities.
