80% of Mandarins Exported from Georgia to Armenia

The Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture reports that from September 1 to November 7, 2021, a total of 478 tons of mandarins were exported from Georgia. According to Aliq.ge, 383 tons, which constitutes 80% of the total, were exported specifically to Armenia.

In 2021, mandarins were exported to the following countries: Armenia (383 tons), Russia (67 tons), Ukraine (18 tons), and Slovenia (10 tons).

The total export value was reported to be $171,000. The volume of mandarin exports during this period increased by 100%, while the export value saw a 54% rise compared to the same period in 2020.
