Vehicle Rolls Down Gorge on Ijevan-Noyemberyan Highway

Today at 00:19, the Tavush regional crisis management center received a call reporting a traffic accident on the Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway at the 5th kilometer. There are injured individuals reported.

A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that a "Mitsubishi" vehicle (driver: H. H., born in 1973) had veered off the roadway and rolled approximately 30 meters down into a gorge.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle's battery, closed the gas cylinder valve, extricated the driver from the vehicle, and assisted him to an ambulance. The injured individual has been hospitalized at the Ijevan city hospital, where doctors rated his health condition as satisfactory.
