Major Car Accident: Contracted Soldier's BMW Collides with Mercedes, Falls from About 3m Height; 5 Individuals Hospitalized
The Traffic Police's 2nd Officer Brigade's 5th Company Senior Investigator Garik Meliksetyan is preparing materials regarding the car accident that occurred on November 6 in the Lori Province.
On that day, around 17:40, Georgi Stepanyan, a 26-year-old resident of Lori Province, driving a BMW, collided with a Mercedes driven by 38-year-old Armen Vardanyan, who was traveling from the opposite direction. After the collision, Stepanyan's vehicle went off the road and fell approximately 3 meters, landing upside down in the yard of a nearby residence.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, the driver, Georgi Stepanyan, and his passengers, residents of Lori Province—26-year-old Boris Sahakyan, 55-year-old Anna Sahakyan, and Ina Sahakyan, whose age is being confirmed—along with the driver of the Mercedes, Armen Vardanyan, were transported to the “Alaverdi” medical center with bodily injuries.
Shamshyan disclosed that driver Georgi Stepanyan serves as a contracted soldier in the RA Ministry of Defense N military unit.
