One Death Recorded in Artsakh Due to COVID-19
On November 6, 265 tests were conducted, resulting in 91 new cases of coronavirus in Artsakh. According to the Ministry of Health of the Artsakh Republic, 144 infected individuals are currently receiving inpatient treatment for the virus. Doctors assess the condition of 20 patients as extremely severe, while 90 are in serious condition, including young individuals. Mild cases are treated in outpatient settings.
One death has been recorded: a 93-year-old man passed away due to complications from the coronavirus disease.
Throughout 2021, a total of 18,289 citizens have been tested for the laboratory detection of the coronavirus in Artsakh, with 2,622 testing positive.
The Health Ministry of the Artsakh Republic urges continued adherence to health guidelines to prevent new outbreaks and to overcome the COVID-19 infection as soon as possible. The ministry also informs that it is essential for the population to get vaccinated against COVID-19 promptly to protect their own health and that of their loved ones. Vaccinations are taking place at the outpatient-polyclinic department of the Republican Medical Center of the Artsakh Republic until 7:00 PM.
