Vano Siradeghyan's Wife Denies Claims That Her Husband's Remains Are in Georgia
Ruza Tonoyan, the director of the Khinko-Apor Children's Library, denied reports that the remains of her husband, former Minister of Internal Affairs and statesman Vano Siradeghyan, are in Georgia. "I can't say anything, it's incorrect information," Mrs. Tonoyan stated in response to a question from 24News, adding that a commission has been established to handle the burial matters, and the process is ongoing.
Statesman, writer, former Minister of Internal Affairs, and a member of the 'Karabakh' committee, Vano Siradeghyan passed away on October 15 at the age of 75. As of now, it is not known which country holds the remains of the figure who had been in exile for over twenty years.
