Seasonal Flu Vaccinations to Be Administered at Mobile Points, Says Anahit Avanesyan

The Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan, signed an order on October 28 to implement seasonal flu vaccinations at mobile vaccination points operating in Yerevan, Shirak, Lori, and Syunik regions.

According to Iravaban.net, the order states:

• 1. To the Director of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health, Artavazd Vanyan, ensure, according to established procedures:
• 1) The organization of the vaccination process against seasonal flu simultaneously or at any interval with the vaccinations against coronavirus for citizens of the Republic of Armenia through mobile vaccination groups operating in the areas of the “Dalma Mall”, “Megamall”, “Rossia Mall” shopping centers, Northern Avenue, Cascade, Vernissage, the garden of “Malibu” café, and Yerevan State University, as well as in Kapan, Gyumri, and Vanadzor.
• 2. To the Director of the National Health Institute named after Academician S. Avdalbekyan, Alexander Bazarchyan, ensure, according to established procedures:
• 1) The organization of the vaccination process against seasonal flu simultaneously or at any interval with the vaccinations against coronavirus for citizens of the Republic of Armenia through mobile vaccination groups operating in the areas listed above.
• 3. To propose to the Secretary of the Yerevan City Hall, Davit Hambaryan, to the Chief Secretaries of the regional administrations of Lori, Shirak, and Syunik, and to the Directors of “St. Grigor Lusavorich” Medical Center, “Number 2 Medical Unit” LLC, and “Medline Clinic” LLC (by agreement) to ensure:
• 1) The administration of seasonal flu vaccinations simultaneously or at any interval with the vaccinations against coronavirus for citizens of the Republic of Armenia through mobile vaccination groups operating in the specified areas.
