Iran's Foreign Minister on Current Relations Between Iran and Azerbaijan
The relations between Iran and Azerbaijan continue to develop in a positive, friendly manner. This was stated by Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, as reported by the Mehr news agency.
“There may be differences of opinion on certain issues, but it is important that both sides have a serious desire to overcome obstacles. My colleague Jayhun Bayramov and I will continue to engage in positive communication and consultations on behalf of both countries to fully develop relations and resolve misunderstandings,” said the Iranian minister.
Amir-Abdollahian added that in this context, they agreed to enhance cooperation for better management of the public and media sphere between the two sides and to establish a joint commission.
“We consider our neighbors as our friends and appreciate the principles of maintaining friendly relations,” emphasized the diplomat.
