Court Decides to Collect Bail Previously Imposed on Arushanyan for State Budget

The General Jurisdiction Court of Syunik has recently decided to collect the bail previously imposed on Arush Arushanyan for the state budget. This request was presented by prosecutors during the court session concerning Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan, as reported by 'Factinfo'.

As previously informed, other criminal cases concerning Arush Arushanyan have been joined to the criminal case against him and Lousine Avetian. In one of these cases, a bail measure of 2 million drams was applied to Arush Arushanyan. The prosecution demanded the collection of the bail amount for the state budget, pointing to the emergence of a new criminal case against Arushanyan. The prosecution believes that Arushanyan has violated the conditions of the bail measure by committing a new offense, thus the bail amount should be collected for the state budget.

The General Jurisdiction Court of Syunik has retired to the consultation room to make a decision and has just announced its ruling to grant the request.
