Bayramov Reports on Number of Fallen Soldiers' Remains Returned to Armenia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, has announced that since November 2020, approximately 1,700 remains of soldiers killed in the 2020 Artsakh war have been handed over to Armenia.

“Currently, around 1,700 bodies of Armenian soldiers have been discovered and transferred to the other side. The exchange of remains has been conducted as a humanitarian action in accordance with the norms of international law,” Bayramov is quoted by the Interfax Azerbaijan news agency.
