18 Newborns Accidentally Vaccinated with Pfizer Vaccine in Vietnam
In Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, doctors accidentally vaccinated 18 newborns aged between 2 to 6 months with the Pfizer vaccine. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
Upon learning about the erroneous vaccinations, the city's health department transferred the children to a hospital for examination and treatment.
Experts from Hanoi Children's Hospital stated that the condition of the vaccinated newborns is stable. Some of them experienced fever after the vaccination, and redness and swelling occurred at the injection site.
The Vietnamese Minister of Health visited the hospital yesterday evening and met with the children. He urged for stricter oversight to prevent similar incidents in the future and called for severe punishment for those responsible for the erroneous vaccination.
