Meeting Between Armenia and Azerbaijan Leaders Possible: Bayramov

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, has responded to reports about a potential meeting between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan. According to the APA agency, Bayramov noted that there are a number of issues related to the "post-conflict phase" between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“These issues include the unblocking of transport communication routes, the delimitation and demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border. There are certain rules for delineating borders between states, and this demarcation needs to happen. There are numerous initiatives related to these and other humanitarian issues, including the provision of maps of mined areas. The Azerbaijani side has never abandoned negotiations. Our position is just, based on international law. We are ready to normalize relations based on the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and inviolability of borders. If there is a need for a meeting concerning all of this, we are open to such meetings,” he stated.
