Red Card Shown to Armen Khachatryan and Melikset Poghosyan: 'Hraparak'

The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports that Syunik Governor Melikset Poghosyan and the region's elected MP from the ruling party, Armen Khachatryan, have been shown a 'red card' and removed from the upcoming electoral processes. They have been prohibited from participating in the election campaigning in Kapan for the elections on November 14.

Once an active MP who used to solicit votes door-to-door in Goris, he is now not even participating in the election campaign through his Facebook page. Their failure in Goris, Meghri, and partly in Tatev is weighing heavily on the team, and they are determined to ensure that this does not repeat in Kapan.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has mobilized the heavy artillery of the team here, and the pre-election campaign is being led by Deputy Prime Minister Suren Papikyan and Chief of Staff Arayik Harutyunyan, even Tigran Avinyan has taken a step back. November 14 will show how capable the ruling elite is in resolving any issue in the country.
