Operation 'Ajapshandal' at a Yerevan Club: Most Detained Individuals are Iranian Citizens

On November 1, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 00:50, the Police Control Center of the Republic of Armenia received a report from the patrol service regarding a dispute at 35 Arami Street.

According to Shamshyan.com, law enforcement detained seven individuals on suspicion of hooliganism from the 'Manoto' disco club, including 37-year-old Seyed Noorolah, 24-year-old Arash Tavakoli, 25-year-old Emad Hoseinkhani, 22-year-old Amir Babazadeh, 19-year-old Hasan Pavin, 35-year-old Ahmad Asghari, 39-year-old Hashem Tashakori, and 33-year-old Soheila Avshari.

Subsequently, at around 04:40, a resident of Yerevan, 40-year-old Robert H., was summoned to the police department, where he confirmed the information received by the police. He reported that from 00:30 to 01:00, the detained individuals and their friends had displayed overtly disrespectful behavior towards customers and staff, striking them with hands, feet, and other objects, damaging the club's property, and deliberately violating public order, disrupting the normal operations of the club.

Additionally, customers of the club, 34-year-old Hejman Fakhari, 36-year-old Hrachya V., 27-year-old Pedram Kavousi, and 25-year-old Amir Chehalvad provided explanations stating that those detained by the patrol had struck various parts of their bodies, causing bodily harm.

A case is currently being prepared at the investigative department of the police, and forensic examinations have been ordered by the investigator. All detained individuals have been released.

According to G. Shamshyan, the released individuals are temporarily residing at the 'Regine' hotel complex on Freedom Avenue in Yerevan.
