Two Explosions Occur in Central Kabul, Casualties Reported
On November 2, a second powerful explosion occurred in central Kabul near the Muhammad Dawood Khan hospital building, according to local Tolo News. Currently, in the Wazir Akbar Khan district, which also houses foreign diplomatic missions, gunfire is reportedly ongoing between attackers and militants from the 'Taliban' radical movement, which has seized power in the country.
According to Bilal Karimi, the Deputy Minister of Information and Culture appointed by the radicals, the first explosion took place near the entrance of the medical facility, while the second occurred nearby. The Muhammad Dawood Khan hospital, intended for 400 beds, is owned by Afghanistan's Ministry of Defense.
As of now, there has been no information on casualties and injuries from the incident, as reported by TASS.
