Ministry of Health Demands Written Inquiry on Inclusion of Home Deaths in 62 Fatalities

Today, 62 deaths due to coronavirus have been recorded. Days ago, Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan stated that the current numbers of fatalities from coronavirus also include non-hospital, home-recorded deaths.

ArmDaily.am approached the press department of the Ministry of Health to clarify whether the 62 recorded deaths include home deaths. However, the minister's spokesperson, Hripsime Khachatryan, requested a written inquiry.

In response to the observation that we needed information regarding today’s data, and that public bodies typically respond to inquiries only on the fifth day of receiving them, which is already outdated, the spokesperson reiterated the same response: “Please send a written inquiry.”
