Kocharian Had Fever Last Night, Has Joint Pain. Court Hearing Postponed

The hearings in the case ED/0253/01/19 resumed today at the General Jurisdiction Court of Yerevan. According to 24news, the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, did not attend the court session. His lawyer, Hayk Alumyann, informed that a relative of the president has tested positive for coronavirus. In recent days, Robert Kocharian had significant contact with this person.

Today, the president exhibited certain symptoms associated with coronavirus, and he underwent testing. The lawyer also indicated that if the court insists on Kocharian's presence, he could arrive within 15 minutes.

During the session, Alumyann clarified that the test results would be available by this evening, around 5:30 to 6:00 PM.

Prosecutor Gevorg Baghdasaryan requested the defense to specify what exact symptoms Kocharian was experiencing. After receiving the response, the prosecutor stated that there was no longer any issue to discuss.

The court session was postponed for one week, until November 9.
